Common questions

How do I connect my bank account?

Tap the '+' button on the Accounts screen and follow the Plaid flow. Plaid is a secure, read-only connection used by apps like Venmo and Coinbase — Peggy never sees your bank credentials.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Peggy → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Peggy cannot issue refunds directly — contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What data do my Circle friends see?

Only aggregated weekly totals: total spent, total saved, and category breakdowns (Housing, Food, Shopping, etc.). Individual transactions, merchant names, and account balances are never shared with anyone.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This immediately revokes your Plaid connection and deletes all your data within 24 hours. The action is irreversible.

Why is a transaction categorized incorrectly?

Peggy uses algorithmic categorization which may occasionally misclassify merchants. Manual re-categorization is on our roadmap. For now, the totals still reflect your actual spending amounts.

Is Peggy available on Android?

Not yet — Peggy is iOS-only right now. Android is on the roadmap.
