Common questions

How do I connect my bank account?

Tap the '+' button on the Accounts screen and follow the Plaid flow. Plaid is a secure, read-only connection used by apps like Venmo and Coinbase — Peggy never sees your bank credentials.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Peggy → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Peggy cannot issue refunds directly — contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What data do my Circle members see?

Members of your Circle (your partner, family, or close friends you've invited) can see your individual transactions, merchants, amounts, category breakdowns, and weekly totals. Peggy is built on full transparency for couples and close circles. Bank passwords and login credentials are never shared — Plaid handles authentication directly.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This immediately revokes your Plaid connection and deletes all your data within 24 hours. The action is irreversible.

Why is a transaction categorized incorrectly?

Peggy uses algorithmic categorization which may occasionally misclassify merchants. Manual re-categorization is on our roadmap. For now, the totals still reflect your actual spending amounts.

Is Peggy available on Android?

Not yet — Peggy is iOS-only right now. Android is on the roadmap.
